NOKIA LUMIA 820
It isn't the 920, but that doesn't make it bad. The Lumia 820 has been announced alongside the Lumia 920 as Nokia's latest pursuits in the mobile space. This device is primarily mid-range and keeping that in mind it sure is something that I'd like to own.
Specs
The Lumia 820 enjoys the same 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual core processor with 1GB of RAM as the 920. Being amodest mid-range phone the 820 gets a 4.3" ClearBlack OLED screen (flat not curved) and has 8GB of onboard storage. The device weighs in at 158.7 grams and carries a 8-megapixel main camera along with a VGA front camera. Battery capacitive is 1650 mAh which delivers a decent 8 hours of usage. NFC and wireless charging come optional. 4G LTE is a given along with Windows Phone 8 as the operating system.

Screen
A flat 800 x 480 ClearBlack OLED is what the Lumia 820 gets. The screen is a bit disappointing even for a phone such as this, though the clear lines of Windows Phone 8 help mask its shortcomings. Fortunately contrast and brightness are slightly above par relative to a budget handset.

Camera
Not so well endowed in this department (it's called modest mid-range for a reason) but it still has a decent 8-megapixel dual-flash camera with Carl Zeiss lens. The phone will take good pictures and the new photo software should go well with it.
Design
The 820 is a step forward in design from the 800. It might not be that different but the 800's design was pretty nice to begin with. All the shortcomings in internal specs don't matter here since the body makes this device feel premium. The absence of a matte finish does disappoint (again) but overall the build is admirable. Nokia is introducing exchangeable covers available in the flavours of yellow, cyan, purple, red, grey, white, and black.
Wireless Charging
Lumia 820 doesn't come right out of the box with integrated wireless charger but that can be solved by Nokia's exchangeable covers which include this. Basically the charger creates electromagnetic field, and a second induction coil in the cover takes power from the electromagnetic field and converts it back into electrical current to charge the battery. Basically like a transformer. Wireless charging won't happen if the charger and the phone are away from each other but it does away with having to connect a cord. The phone can be placed on a pad and it'll start charging up. Also, the covers are compatible with the Qi standard which opens the door for public charging. Nokia is partnering with Virgin Atlantic lounge as well as at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf cafes to for wireless charging. And once your phone is charged you can play tunes to JBLs Power Up which also includes, surprise surprise a wireless charger.

This modest little phone is a good iteration on it's predecessor and doesn't leave you wanting more. Price is the biggest feature of this device and I would be making a darn good point right about now had Nokia announced pricing. Availability is a mystery too.
UPDATE: CEO Stephen Elop reveals that Nokia is gonna announce the release and pricing sometime in Q4 2012. The phone is taking long not because of hardware-software integration issues but for software issues. Also, there might be an array of (as yet unannounced) features coming to Lumia's Windows Phone 8.
